Privacy Policy
What we collect and why
Last updated 20 September 2026
This policy covers Limenport and this website. It is written to be read, not to be survived. If anything here is unclear, email kiran@limenport.com and we will answer plainly.
Who this covers
Two different groups of people appear in this policy, and the rules are not the same for each.
- You, if you contact us. You filled in a form on this site, booked a call, or emailed us. We are responsible for that data.
- People who call our clients. If one of our clients uses an agent we built, their callers are speaking to our client's business. Our client decides what is collected and why; we process it on their instructions. If you are such a caller, contact the business you called. We will help them respond.
What we collect from you
- When you request a demo call: your first and last name, email, phone number, business name, and industry if you give it.
- When you book a discovery call: whatever our scheduling provider collects to make the booking, typically name, email and your chosen time.
- When the demo agent calls you: an audio recording and a written transcript of that call.
- When you browse: aggregate page and performance analytics. No cookies, and no tracking of you across other sites.
We do not ask for and do not want payment card details, health information, or government identifiers. Nothing on this site takes a payment.
Call recording
Demo calls are recorded and transcribed. You are told this on the form before you submit it, and again at the start of the call itself. The recording exists so we can check the agent behaved correctly and improve it.
Recording law varies by state. Most US states allow a recording where one party consents, but a number of them, including California, Florida, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Washington, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Delaware and Oregon, require every party to agree first. We treat the stricter rule as the rule everywhere rather than guessing where a caller is.
That is why you must tick a box agreeing to the call and the recording before the form will submit, why the agent says it again at the start of the call, and why refusing is easy: do not tick the box, or say so on the call and we stop and delete the recording. You can withdraw consent at any time by any reasonable means, including simply telling the agent.
For calls to a client's live agent, the client decides whether calls are recorded and is responsible for telling their callers. We build the announcement into the agent's greeting on request, and we recommend it in every jurisdiction, but the obligation is theirs as the business being called.
You are talking to an AI
Our agents identify themselves as an AI assistant at the start of a call. We do not build agents that claim to be human, and we will not do so on request. Ask to speak to a person at any point and the call transfers or a message is taken.
Why we are allowed to hold it
Where UK or EU law applies, our lawful bases are: consent, which you give by submitting a form and may withdraw at any time; and legitimate interests, being able to respond to an enquiry you sent us and to keep a record of what was agreed. Where a contract exists, performing it.
Who else sees it
We do not sell your data. We have never sold it and the business does not depend on selling it. It is shared only with the providers that make the thing you asked for actually happen, and only the part each one needs:
- Hosting and analytics (Vercel) serve this site and report aggregate traffic.
- Scheduling (Cal.com) handles discovery call bookings.
- Voice platform (Vapi) places the demo call and stores its recording and transcript.
- Workflow automation (n8n) moves your enquiry from the form into our records.
- Storage (Google Sheets, part of Google Workspace) holds the enquiry record so we can follow up.
- Language model providers generate the agent's replies during a call.
These are named rather than described in the abstract because you cannot assess a risk you are not told about. If any of them changes we will update this list.
Where your data is processed
Limenport operates from Bangalore, India. If you are in the United States, that means your enquiry, and any call recording, is processed outside the US. We say this up front because you are entitled to know before you hand anything over, not in a clause you find later.
The providers listed above process data in their own regions, typically the United States and the EU. For a client engagement, the accounts holding call data are yours and can be created in a US region if you prefer; ask and we will set them up that way.
Where a client needs one, we will sign a data processing agreement and standard contractual clauses covering the transfer.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries and bookings: while we are in touch about a project, and up to 24 months after the last contact.
- Demo call recordings and transcripts: held in the voice platform (Vapi) for up to 12 months, then deleted. Ask sooner and we delete them sooner, from the voice platform and from our own records, and confirm to you when it is done.
- Client call data: kept for as long as our client instructs, in accounts the client owns. When an engagement ends the data stays with them, because the accounts are theirs.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask for a copy, or tell us to stop contacting you. Email kiran@limenport.com. We answer within 30 days and we do not charge for it.
If you are in California, we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA, we have never done so, and exercising any right here will never cause us to treat you differently. You may also designate an authorised agent to make a request for you.
Other US states with comparable laws, including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah and Texas, give broadly the same rights of access, correction, deletion and opt out. We apply them to everyone rather than checking which state you are in.
If UK or EU law applies to you, you also have the right to object to processing, to restrict it, and to complain to your data protection authority. Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act you may withdraw consent, ask for correction or erasure, and nominate someone to exercise those rights on your behalf.
Cookies
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies and shows no consent banner, because there is nothing to consent to. Our analytics are cookieless and aggregate. The booking tool may set cookies of its own when you open it; its policy governs that.
Security and breaches
Access is limited to the people who need it. Transport is encrypted. We are a small team and we do not pretend to hold certifications we have not earned. If a breach affects your data we will tell you and the relevant authority without undue delay.
Children
This service is for businesses. It is not directed at anyone under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe we have, email us and we will delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we update the date at the top and, where we hold your address and it affects you, we tell you.
